- Work Process. Duration Commissions may take a week to a month or more to complete, depending on health conditions. If it takes longer I will reach out. Sometimes it takes me up to three months to finish a comm due to things going on in my personal life, please keep this in mind. Updates I update clients on commissions every time I get to a milestone! Ex: when sketch is done, when lineart is finished, when flat colored, when shaded. You can see the progress of commissions on my VGen. If the client does not respond after a week, I WILL continue my work and go through with submitting when the deadline comes.
